Background:
Audio Visual Brainwave entrainment (ABWE) is the synchronization of brainwaves with entraining stimuli, i.e., rhythmic visual (flickering lights) and auditory (Isochronic tones, and/or Binaural beats), that elicit synchronization of neural oscillations. The chakra system refers to the various focal points in the subtle body used in a variety of ancient meditation practices and integrative energy-based therapies.
Objective:
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of Audio-Visual Brain Entrainment (ABWE) on the Chakra system through data pulse analysis.
Methods:
100 adult volunteers (50 males and 50 females) with no hearing disabilities were subjected to a single 20-minute ABE session with the BrainTap headset (New Bern – NC – USA). ABE consisted of Binaural beats at 18 to 0.5 HZ, Isochronic Tones at 18 to 0.5.
HZ and visual Entrainment of light-emitting diode lights (470 nanometers – nm) flickering at 18 to 0.5 HZ. Data pulse analysis (NeuralChek, New Bern, NC, USA) was assessed at baseline and after ABE session.
Results:
ABE significantly increased all chakras energy level in comparison to baseline evaluations, as assessed by Data Pulse Analysis. Root Chakra (Muladhara; p<0.001, 32.6%); Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana; p<0.001, 36%); Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura; p<0.001, 35.1%); Heart Chakra (Anahata; p<0.001, 44.5%); Throat Chakra (Vissudha; p<0.001, 28.9%); Third eye Chakra (Ajna; p<0.001, 40.7%); Crown Chakra (Sahasrara; p<0.001, 36%).
Conclusion:
Audio-Visual Brain Entrainment with the BrainTap Headset significantly increased all chakra energy levels.
